Samosir Villa Resort welcoming Mari Pangestu Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia
The Lake
Toba Festival 2013, begun last Sunday September 8 ,2013. This event takes place
during the 7 days, from 8 – 14 September 2013.
The
Festival was officially opening by Hatta Rajasa , Coordinating Minister for
EconomicAffairs.

In his speech by the opening, said, Samosir
Island – Lake
Toba has big potential to be one of
the best Tourism Destination in Indonesia, which can be compare to Bali. But to be able to achieve this goal, there are
several things needs to be addressed, such a infrastructure, and facilities.
After the
opening with full of Batak traditional act, Mr.Hatta enjoyed his staying at
Samosir Villa resort together with others government officials from Jakarta.
During the
festival preparation, Mari Pangestu , Minister of Tourism and Creative
Economy of Indonesia, has visited Samosir
Island as well, and
stayed at Samosir Villa Resort.

by developing his Resort , as an expansion from his Samosir Cottages.
This
opportunity has made Esron Samosir, to talk openly with those Minister, how is
the tourism in Samosir and what Samosir needs. He hope, may the government especially from Samosir regent and Province became more serious. And this
festival, can be a annual calendar event. Samosir

is a paradise place.
